Akakia Residence is a spacious vacation home placed on the edge of Vivlos village, close to its square. It is a quiet place with a scenic view to the mountains and the green valley. It is close to all the places you can visit and you can roam all over the village on foot. Also it is close to the most famous beaches of the island and more specifically it is 3.5 km (10min by car) away from Plaka beach. We should also mention that the village has everything you may need, such as supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, taverns, restaurants and cafeterias, all close to our neighbourhood. If you have a car, it is important to know that a few metres from our place there is a free and safe parking lot. We look farward to meeting you in our place.
My name is Kiriaki, but friends call me Kiki. I am an indigenous of Naxos, born and grown up in this wonderful place. As most people do, I believe in the importance of family in which I always find love, relief and happiness. Speaking from my own experience, Naxos is the ideal place for a family, with young or older children, as there are a lot of places to visit, not only in Naxos town or at the beaches, but also at the traditional villages like Vivlos, Agios Arsenios etc. These places can give you the original character of our island. What I love most in hospitality, is the chance to give via my home a good picture of my village to those who visit our island. I send my best wishes to all of you and I hope you enjoy your holidays, no matter where you go.
Our neighbourhood is a quiet and peaceful place. The local people (and your potential neighbours) are cheerful and hospitable. In our neighbourhood you can find everything, such as traditional taverns and restaurants, cafeterias, super market and grocery stores, bakery, pharmacy, gas station, butcher shop, folklore Museum. There, you will also meet the monument of the village, the famous Windmills of Vivlos. It is also important to know that there is public transport that connects the village with the town and the beaches. If you have a car there is a free parking area near the house.
