Ampavri Family Apartments is a family business for over 20 years, where you will experience a friendly, warm, comfortable environment. It is known for its hospitality and fun atmosphere. It is located on a small hill, with a quiet surrounding, 1.2 km from the beach as well as Kos town centre, 1.6km from the port, 1km from Kaza Romana the impressive Roman house and 1.4km from the most well-known ancient monument of the island, the Asklepieion, which also represents the island of Kos. Moreover, the museum is located just 1km from the apartments. Hence, you can lay-back, relax and enjoy the sun by the swimming-pool at the apartments but at any time you wish you can easily walk a short distance (10min walk) and experience the lively town centre where over half of the islandʼs population live and is full of charm and wonderful Italian architecture. At night you can also enjoy drinks at the apartmentʼs bar and have fun with music and dancing.
The family that own the apartments are known for their warm welcoming and hospitality, they are more than happy to assist you with any kind of requests you may have. No wonder people come back year after year. They are also known for the Greek traditional nights they organise for their quests, where you will taste traditional Greek food, watch and try Greek dancing as well as have a lot of fun. Another organised event is the barbecue night where guests are served fresh grilled local meat along with a night full of music and laughter.
Kos island is located in Greece in the island complex of Dodecanese. The island of "Hippocrates" with a history coming through ancient times harmonicaly combined with modern civilization. All around Kos island you can find ancient temples, typical greek villages, mediaeval monuments and a lot of sunny beaches. In many places the nature surrounding of the island is unique and it will give you relaxation and harmony but also therapeutic value with it's sulphur springs. Holidays in Kos island will be something for you to remember.
