This old stone house was built in 1930. It was a family home and my father was born there. The first renovation took place in 2004. The second renovation in 2018. The house is 52 square meters and it can host to 6 people . There is a bedroom with a double bed and a board can be added a baby cot. In the living room, opposite the fire place there is a bed-couch which can be used by 2 people. There is also a raised (οντας) room with a double bed ,1.00 to 1.40 meters in high. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge ,cooker and washing machine . The toilet is spacious with an open shower. There is also a big veranda with a table and chairs and you can enjoy the sunset and the thrilling landscapes of our quiet village. Aristeidis’s old stone house is located in a little, quite village with 35 habiters called Plouti , 33 km from Heraklion city ,in the south part of Heraklion , and 8 km from the nearest area Moires that is the main town of the whole area in south Crete. At Plouti , you will find hospitable, friendly people and you can enjoy the real traditional village life
Hi!My name is Aristides Asithianakis. I am 42 years old I come from Crete, and I live in Heraklion. I am married to Kaliope Papadaki and we have two children Georgios (15) and Maria (13). I have graduated from the official Greek school of tourism forth. Past 12 years I have been working as a medical representative at one of the most popular companies in Hellas. I speak English and German language. I love nature , the traditional culture and Cretan music. I like travelling and I have already lived the experience of staying at Booking homes. One kilometer away from the village you can find «Zacharioudakis winery with its awarded wines . (www...) There , you will find out the way to make Cretan wine. Stelios Zacharioudakis, one of the village resident is willing to introduce you to the secrets of wine making .Nearby Plouti you can find interesting sights, nice beaches with sparkling clear water, and you can enjoy different activities like cycling, hiking, jogging etc. IMPORTANT SIGHTS NEARBY THE VILLAGE: 1.
