TEMKO Ike (Touristikès Epicheirìseis Messinìas KOròni IKE) is a company founded specifically for the implementation of the AROKARIAPARTMENTS project and the management of its tourist activity. The owner and managing director is also the owner of the structure. Temko Ike acquired the management of the old Villa Petros, providing for a total renovation of the apartments to create an estate capable of guaranteeing tourists a high standard of quality of accommodation and services. The project also includes the construction of new residential units. Some units have already been built in 2020 and 2021 (and are already available), others are expected to be built by 2024. The owner and manager Peter (Italian-Greek bilingual), stays in an apartment within the residence and is always available for any need. Together with his wife Chiara they are also dedicated to the production of oil (of the highest quality 100% monovarietal of the Koroneiki type) and to the production of the famous Kalamata Olives, according to the rules of the most ancient local tradition. Products that will not be missing on the table when you arrive.

AROKARIAPARTMENTS is a residence/aparthotel consisting of 8 apartments, a large pool of 100m2, a play area for children and a covered balcony of over 100m2, right on the sea and adjacent to the pool with 24 seats where lounging. THE FLATS All the apartments have independent access, veranda or porch with sea view, and exclusive parking. All are distant variously from 50 to 80 meters from the beach. From their verandas, it's possible to admire an incredible panorama that extends along the entire length of the bay, getting lost in the daily show of dawn rising over the sea and behind Mount Taygetos. The accommodations are all recently built. Partly renovated in 2019 and partly built in 2020. They host from 2 to 6 beds (depending on the apartment). They are equipped with all the necessary comforts, such as: air conditioning, air purifiers, satellite TV, internet connection and a modern and fully equipped kitchen. Some also have a private courtyard, with a barbeque and a swing. RESIDENCE LOCATION AROKARIAPARTMENTS is located in the bay of Gargaroù (Gargaroù Beach) in the Mirtià district which is part of the hamlet Charakopiò, between the citadel of Koròni and the hamlets Kòmbi and Peroùlia. The residence is located in a countryside of olive trees, vineyards, palm trees, cypresses and arocarias, but close to all the necessary services (2km from Charakopiò and 5km from Koròni) and many tourist and natural attractions, such as: the fortress of Methòni (30min/car) the waterfalls of Polylimnio (30min/car) the fortress of Navarìno Paleòkastro (40min/car) the fortress of Navarino Niòkastro (40min/car) The Palace of Nestor (40min/car) Nestor's cave (40min/car) Thrasimede's Tomb (40min/car) Voidokilia (40min/car) Ancient Messène (60min/car) Its position makes it essential to have your own vehicle, to be able to move freely. However ArokariApartments can offer a shuttle service, for fee, to and from Kalamata airport which is 48 km away.

Neighbourhood information

Koròni is a typical Greek citadel, with its port and promenade full of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and banks, and one of the oldest Venetian fortresses on the Peloponnese. However, its origins are much older and date back to the golden age of King Nestor. Also mentioned in Homer's Iliad as Asìni (the ancient name of Koròni) it was one of the cities that sent the army of the fleet of the "100 Black Ships" under the name of King Nestor to conquer Troy. Less suggestive but closer and equally equipped is the village of Charakopiò, where you can find everything you need to spend a relaxing holiday. In any case, ArokariApartments will not fail to provide you with a local guide to all basic necessities (pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.), but also to the most characteristic and popular restaurants typical of the area.
