Property information

The Athenian House is a recently refurbished two storey house with a big attic. It is located in one of the oldest streets of the historical neighborhood of Plaka, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Underground station within walking distance (5 min). The majority of archaeological sites within walking distance. Many coffee-houses,restaurants, tavernas, bars, souvenir shops etc at your feet.

Neighbourhood information

• Plaka Plaka, also known as “the neighborhood of the Gods” due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites, is one of the most picturesque areas of Athens. Stroll around, enjoy the unique architecture, visit souvenir shops and shops with local products, go for a Greek coffee at cafe Melina or try out Greek cuisine dishes at tavernas like Zorbas. Everything is right at your feet! • Monastiraki Visit the Monastiraki flea market for a pleasant walk and maybe some Greek sandals and souvenir shopping! Look out to see traditional antique shops. Take a coffee break with great views (see coffee shops below). Tip! There are some hidden gems to be discovered in the antique shops at great prices.
