Property information

The beautiful outstanding historic building, was handed down by our ancestors and was used as a residence for several years. Casa Kallergi occupies the second floor, thus enjoying the privilege of the wonderful views to the old town and sea beyond. The original hand painted ceiling, decorating the entrance to the residence, was the key feature in choosing the artifacts that decorate the spacious rooms, offering the feeling of discrete luxury and elegance.

Neighbourhood information

Chania old town, is the gem of Crete, known also as Venice of the East! Theotokopoulou street, where Casa Kallergi is located, is a beautiful paved and pedestrian street, colorful and enchanting! Several small paved alleys, lead to the harbor front in one minute and more alleys around the back lead to the center of modern Chania city. All alleys are pedestrian and dotted with lovely shops, restaurants and cafes. The venetian harbor front, offers a lovely promenade by the sea, that ends at the lighthouse, from where the views to the old town and backdrops of the White Mountains are awe inspiring! Yachts and boats sailing quietly in and out the harbor, horse-drawn carriages from the times of Romance, artists, locals and tourists, all blend together creating a unique cosmopolitan ambience!
