Casa Leone is a historic traditional Cretan house, originally built in the 19th century, at the heart of the historic old village of Atsipopoulo, a few minutes drive away from the town of Rethymno. Built with stone and wood (it even has embrasures/ gunholes still standing on its walls!), it's representative of the traditional mix of Venetian, Ottoman and Cretan architectures. Recently refurbished to include a splash pool (dimensions: 4m x 2.5m, depth: 1.2m) and 2 bathrooms (+1 WC), it can comfortably accommodate 6-8 people (in 3 bedrooms + a double sofa bed in the living room). Equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, 2 seating areas with flat screens and a private courtyard surrounding the pool, it guarantees relaxing moments with friends and family! Off-street (public) parking, a bakery, coffee shops, multiple restaurants and a super market are all within less than 5 minutes walk from your front door! The famous sandy beach of Episkopi is also just 15 minutes drive away.
