This penthouse studio apartment provides a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable queen bed and 2 balconies. The larger outdoor area has a jacuzzi for 2, a sitting area, a film projector and a sea view! The second balcony has a BBQ and dining table. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in beautiful Varkiza and is just a 4 min walk from the town square where you can find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and Varkiza Resort beach! Kick back and relax in this great space! Ideal for couples.
The town of Varkiza is considered to be the Athens Riviera. It has beautiful, organized sandy beaches, plenty of cafes and restaurants, open air cinemas, a marina and a seaside pedestrian walkway ideal for evening strolls. There are bakeries, supermarkets, playgrounds and public transport all in walking distance. Varkiza is only a 20min drive from the airport, 30mins from the centre of Athens and around 35 mins from Piraeus Port. The town features the renowned Varkiza Resort which includes an organized beach, many different water sports, restaurants and cocktail bars! There are also beachfront restaurant/clubs and pool bars. Varkiza is an ideal summer destination! The following areas are easily accecible by car, taxi or bus. 122 bus (from the main square of Varkiza) takes you to: - Vouliagmeni (5min bus ride) An upmarket, vibrant town full of seaview cafes and restaurants. There are diving lessons available in the area and it is also a great place for hiking, cycling and swimming since this is where a famous triathlon event is held! (Exterra Greece Championship). The town’s most appealing feature may well be its thermal spa lake where you can swim and enjoy the great surroundings all year round! - Glyfada A popular town for all kinds of shopping and leasure with a wide choice of trendy cafes, restaurants and bars. - Metro Elliniko (end destination) From here you can get the metro to the centre of Athens where you can visit the Acropolis, Syntagma square and many other places of historical interest. You must not miss the opportunity to visit Sounion (the Poseidon Temple)! It is truly an unforgettable experience with beautiful ocean views and the majestic temple itself is awe inspiring. You can take the Ktel (bus) from Varkiza square to the temple
