Cloud House is easy to access, 32 steps up from the small village parking, where a natural sauna heated by the volcano leads the way. Two of the finest tavernas in the Dodecanese are only steps away in the village square. Emporios is an archaeological gem full of ruins that has been undergoing a revival as traditional houses are being restored by contemporary architects, artists and designers. The original Nissyrian charm still permeates the village with wild goats walking the stone streets and church bells ringing.
