Set in the scenic village of Tsagarada, within a walking distance from the village's two squares, Iris is a traditional guest house featuring elegantly decorated rooms with spectacular views over the Aegean Sea and Pelion Mountain. The beautiful pastel colourings and relaxing asthetics make our rooms extremely relaxing and enjoyable. During the summer months, you can have the windows open for fresh air, as well as to enjoy the beautiful views of the Aegean Sea, that we are so lucky to have been blessed with on the east side of Mount Pelion. During the cold winter months, you can light up the fireplaces in the room, as to escape from the bitter cold that Pelion winters bring. Sleep in comfort on our premium Coco-Mat mattresses, designed for superior rest and relaxation.
The comfort of our guests is the most important aspect of our business, and we will do all that we can to provide you with very fond memories of your stay here with us. Having a great love and admiration for the natural beauty and the local market of Tsagarada, we can tell you which are the best places to go for food or drink, which beaches are popular, or which are very quiet, as well as helping you plan your adventures around Pelion as we would do for ourselves.
Tsagarada is located to the east of Mount Pelion, 54km from the port serving city of Volos. It actually consists of four smaller towns, Agia Paraskevi, Agia Kiriaki, Agio Stefano and Agioi Taxiarhes. These four villages, which are located on a green hill on Mount Pelion make up Tsagarada. Popular beaches in the summer are Milopotamos and Fakistras. Walking around the area is a wonderful way to relax, and on your walks you will come across numerous spring water fountains, beautiful churches, lushcious plants and nature, and of course, the famous plane tree, which is over one thousand years old, and has a diameter of 14 meters.
