The converted shop front has been turned into a stylish apartment located in the centre of the island. Karvounades is a historic village of Kythira, close to everything important on the island, equipped with a delicious bakery next door, a supermarket a few paces away, and a souvlaki place in the vicinity. Everything you need is there and from the homebase, you will be able to travel to the north, south, east, and western most points of Kythira.
I am writer based in Kythira, Greece. I love to read, discover the wonders of history and culture, and to share my passion of my ancestral home. With my wife, we work in restoring traditional homes in Kythira and look after the management of them. My partner, Carla, is also a creative soul, who dabbles in sewing and other for-purpose work. We are both passionate about equality!
