Maries is a village on the north of the island, very close to the famous shipwreck beach and the blue caves. It is on the highlands of the island so there is a lot of green around and fresh air. It is also cooler in the heat of the summer than the areas closer to the sea and less busy, so it's an ideal location for those that want peace and quiet and to be surrounded by nature.
