The mansion consists of a beautiful, spacious yard with exterior furniture, garden, parking lot and a kids play area. It consists of two storeys, beautiful domes, 1 patio, 1 spacious vintage kitchen with an old oven and chimney,2 living,2 dining areas, fireplace,3 bedrooms,2 bathrooms inside and 1 external.The mansion is unique, part of an old castle, built during 16th century by Venetians, burnt by Turqs and entirely renovated, fully equipped to meet the highest modern facilities and standards.
Maria is a very popular person, very hard working. She has attended many seminars on restoration and maintenance of furniture, decoration, creation of handmade jewelry. She is a very nice, welcoming host and a great cook. She has also a position as supermarket manager.
Aroni is set only 10km from Chania city centre, 4km far away from the airport and 8km from the greatest beaches of Akrotiri: Marathi, Loutraki, Tersanas. Aroni is a village offering all the amenities: supermarkets, butcher shops, pharmacies, hairdressers, dry cleaning services, gas station, taverna, bakery etc. The village was built during the Venetian period. The Venetian lord named Aronis settled here and the area was named after him. Turqs destroyed twice the temple dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary that was built in 1960 and is found at the metropolitan church. There is an extraordinary church of Saint Spyridon in a catacomb.
