A large Medieval Stone Mansion in Kalamoti, Chios that uniquely combines the nobility of the 19th century with the comforts of the 21st. It is renovated with respect for the traditional architecture and fully equipped for a comfortable and joyful stay. This traditional mastic village is 25km from the airport and the port. The famous beach of Komi is 5' with the car from the house (3km) with many cafes, restaurants and umbrellas and 10' the beach of Mavra Volia and the Mastic Museum. Kalamoti is one of the villages of Chios that cultivate mastic. It has a mini market, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, police station and ATM. In close proximity is Pyrgi with the Xysta, Olympi with the cave, Vessa with the handmade pasta and Mesta. Also nearby beaches are Ag. Dynami, Kato Fana, Apothika, Avlonia and Salagona.
From the port or airport you will take the road that goes to the village of Armolia and Kalamoti. When you reach Armolia you will pass the supermarket (Market in) and the Avin gas station and turn left at the sign for Kalamoti. Once you reach the square of Kalamoti you will turn left at the sign that says Kalamoti Dam (KATRARI), Medieval Settlement. You will proceed as the road goes (on Google map it says epar. odos tholopotamio Kalamoti) and you will pass IN FRONT of the church of Ag. Kyriaki. Our house is near the church.
