What's not to love, it's a terrific spot :-) - One of the best places that we have found. The view is outstanding, The house is well appointed and our hosts are generous and charming hosts. It is very close to the shops, restaurants and tavernas along the beach. Being cat lovers, we also enjoyed the visits by a mother cat an her three kittens. - Nous avons passé un super séjour à Tolo Le petit appartement est parfait pour 2 personnes, très propre et très lumineux, grandes baies vitrées, très bien équipé, mobilier et linge de qualité, avec tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine, la salle de bains et l'entretien général y compris pour la plage. Belle et grande terrasse avec le soleil le matin puis à l'ombre pour le déjeuner ou le diner. Une très belle vue sur la mer depuis l'appartement et la terrasse. Le village de Tolo est à 700m avec boutiques, commerces, tavernes et une très belle plage.

- Ancient Asini - Kastraki : Assini is not famous only for it’s delicious mandarins. Once you visit it you will be impressed by it’s history and archaeological monuments. In the Mycenaean era Assini was a great town and it was the grand port of Mycenae. 700 BC was plundered by the Argious who the only that they left behind was the temple of Apollo Pythaea. After that the residents of Assini left their land and became settlers in Messinia. The excavations of the Swedes, by the King Gustav in 1922, have highlighted the myth of Assini. Homer mentioned Assini it in the Iliad epic as people of Assini along with their king had taken part in the Trojan war. - Palamidi castle: Enchantment from above Or otherwise known as the 999 steps! If you are an extreme person and the winds don’t favour for kite surf, you can take the steps up to Palamidi and keep yourself in excellent shape at the same time. And, to be frank, the stairs are only 857! Which road to choose? To be more serious, the idea is not so extreme, considering that you can make resting stops along the way, - Nafplion museums: The long history of Nafplion is well-kept in the museums located at the centre of the city.
