The distance from the nearest beach is only a 10-minute drive, while from Thessaloniki’s airport it is a 45-minute drive. The distance from Halkidiki's most popular beaches is 20-40 minute drive. Polygyros is a small and quiet town, built on the foothills of the mountain Cholomontas. It is known for its good climate, fresh air and low humidity on summer days. It is the ideal place for those seeking peace and serenity. It enjoys a strategic position as it connects the highland of Halkidiki with the peninsula’s waterfront, offering its visitors the opportunity to enjoy not only the mesmerizing nature but also the crystal clear aquamarine waters of Halkidiki.
PhiloxenInn enjoys a strategic position in Polygyros, right on the foothills and by the ring road, with direct access both to the highland of Halkidiki and the peninsula’s waterfront. The General Hospital of Halkidiki, a pharmacy, bank, bakery and grocery store are all located very close to PhiloxenInn. In the building there is a cafe-bar, where you can have a coffee or a drink while enjoying the view of the hills. In addition, a large parking lot is located across the building. Last but not least, the distance from the city centre is a 10-minute walk. PhiloxenInn has direct access to the main roads that lead both to the mountains of Halkidiki and the splendid waterfront of the peninsula.
