Plakoto House was once a holiday traditional themonia house for my grandmother.I rebuilt it and I kept the traditional aloni(the special circular construction where Sifniots are separating the wheat with the help of mules and donkeys).It is a special house for me and my family and we have chosen to use traditional stones and wood to create a house in Sifnos architectural way.
I have been living on Sifnos for the last 18 years but my origins are from here.I live on Sifnos all year round .In summer I run a small hotel with my husband and children and in winter I teach foreign languages. I will be very happy to be your guide during your stay in Plakoto House.
Plakoto house is only 1 km far from the centre of apolloniawhere you can do shopping,stroll around the paths or go out in numerous clubs,bars and restaurants. It is 4 km far from Faros beach and 8 km from Chryssopigi and Platis Yialos beach.
