Neighbourhood information

Marpissa village stands on the hill of Kefalos, just above Piso Livadi, 18 km south-east of Parikia port. Built amphitheatrically (like most of the Cycladic villages) around the hill, Marpissa is a traditional Cycladic village with whitewashed cubic houses, standing among narrow streets, churches and windmills. It is one of the few authentic villages of Paros and it is a constitutive element of its incredible charm and unspoiled beauty. Marpissa is near the waterfront and close to many beaches. Ruins of an old castle and of the Monastery of Agios Antonios (Monastery of Saint Antoine) can be found on the top of the hill of Kefalos (right above the villa). The sandy beach of Molos, is located nearby the village of Marmara (and is one of the many beaches of the area). All those beaches are real paradises, with deep blue clear waters, golden soft sand and a magnificent view to the island of Naxos. You can reach Molos by car, quads, motrbikes or taxi.
