Our guesthouse is build in the midst of an olive grove on a hill overlooking the sea and the magnificent Mount Athos across the bay. It is a beautiful area with fabulous views, 2 kilometers away from the village of Sarti. We only have six guest rooms. While running SartiVista, we maintain a natural, sustainable lifestyle. We grow most of our own food, organically. Besides our vegetable garden, and our fruit trees, we have a vineyard from which we make our own wine, and we have an olive grove from which we make olive oil. The breakfasts we serve include much of our own produce. We are not for everyone. We are not a luxury hotel, nor a beachfront hotel, nor a play/party hotel. We are a small, friendly, pleasant guesthouse providing comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfasts to people who enjoy staying at a quiet location in an enchanting natural setting with fabulous views.
Sarti, Halkidiki, Greece is a fishing and farming village located on the northern coast of the Aegean Sea. It faces the Holy Mount Athos, and on a clear day you can see some of the famous monasteries across the bay. In the last thirty years, Sarti has grown into a major tourist destination during the summer months. The area surrounding Sarti is one of the most scenic and pristine areas in all of Greece. The land is hilly, rocky, wooded, and wild, while the sea is clear and deep blue. The last 20 miles of the drive to Sarti down the Sithonia peninsula offer a series of breathtaking views of the rocky outcroppings and sandy beaches that form the coastline. We would be happy to direct you to some out-of-the-way picturesque tavernas, nestled against the rocky seashore, where local fishing boats are moored in the harbor below.
