Visitors have the privilege to enjoy the unique atmosphere created by the stone in combination with the wood. Petrino in Sisi is made of stone only in the traditional way. The interior constructions are made of wood, such as the roof and the elevated bedroom (wooden being). The modern furniture and decoration creates a special aesthetic effect. At a distance of 3.5 km, there is the Monastery of Agios Georgios Selinari, and at a distance of 26 km (40 min), the famous Lasithi plateau, with the 18 authentic villages, and the Dikteon cave, where according to legend, Zeus was born. Nearby beaches are Boufos, Avlaki and Malia beach.
