Monastiraki5 is a minimal flat on the third floor at the historical center of Athens, right under Acropolis. The Monastiraki metro station  is 2 minutes walking distance (150m) from this new, modern, urban-industrial flat in the most picturesque neighborhood of Athens with its narrow streets, the famous flea market, street vendors, antique shops and many taverns and cafes with the most stunning view of the ancient sites and Acropolis .

Neighbourhood information

Monastiraki is suitable for long walks in the narrow streets full of countless small stores where on Sunday there is an open market right next to the remains of the Roman Agora and under the Acropolis. From the other hand there is Psiri, one of the liveliest districts with endless choices of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. In addition, only a few meters away the famous 150 years old Municipal Varvakios fish Market and Evripidou Street the so called "traditional market area" full of spices, herbs, meat, cold cuts and dairy products from small artisan producers all over Greece.
