The Aged Olive Tree stone house is a restored stone stable with natural materials according to the traditional architecture, which runs on 100% renewable energy. Electricity and Ηot water comes from solar panels, cooking is done with a Gas or Wood oven, while the air conditioning is achieved by the thick shade of the Aged Olive Tree! The Αged Οlive Tree is located 2 minutes away from the central square of Agios Polykarpos village in Rahes Ikaria and the beginning of the Canyon of Charakas, right in the center for excursions either to the cosmopolitan villages of the island and the beaches, or to the wonderful nature of the island.

Agios Polykarpos village, is te most organized one in Rahes of Ikaria, having every having you may need easy reachable by feet, like super market, bakery, coffee shops and restaurants, doctor and dentist and most important of all, fresh running water from the springs! It is the closest village to the beautiful beaches of North Ikaria and very close to the cosmopolitan village of Christos Rahon for the night visit! The nature all around is fabulous, as the name says (Cent of the reach growth), located over Harakas canyon with the nice forest! Our small neighborhood, 2 minutes away by feet from the village square, is quiet and so beautiful, tat you will find yourself to hard to sa goodbye for your adventures - Enjoy!
