Beautiful unit, which can accommodate seven guests maximum. Situated in the middle of the village of Chora in Kythira, with everything nearby, from grocery stores to art galleries to jazz bars. I am a Greek American clinical psychologist, trained in the U.S., where I lived for 15 years. I love my chosen field of study and spend many hours a day working with people or reading on psychology topics. I work many many many hours. I spend every free moment with my two adolescent children, whom I adore. I do no housework, except for cooking for special occasions (and only for special occasions!). Other than that, I am a very social, extroverted and relaxed individual. I enjoy sipping on wine and trying good food, especially new tastes. I enjoy traveling but have very little time to allocate to this activity. I enjoy interesting company. I enjoy smart people. And I am a liberal, that is, I believe in "live and let live". I generally send a whole bunch of information by email that most visitors consider very useful and, of course, will be available to answer more specific questions by phone/ email/ viber/ messenger etc.
The home is located in the middle of the village of Kythira, with everything nearby, from grocery stores to art galleries to jazz bars. Within a few meters, the views of the castle and the Kapsali Beach beneath (shaped like a heart, where Aphrodite was supposedly born) are breathtaking. Within half hour drive, there are at least 5 gorgeous beaches for the whole family to swim. The closest beach is that of Kapsali down below, full of restaurants, cafes, and bars, no more than 5 minutes away by car. If you plan to stay for more than 3-4 days, it is a good idea to bring or rent a car or motorcycle. Public transport is sparse and does not cover the entire island. Taxis are available nearby, still, a car allows you to access more of the island and a 4X4 allows you access to beaches otherwise difficult to reach.
