The Olive Grove is a very special Villa in Almyrida. It is just 3 minute walk to the beach and numerous tavernas,cafes and shops. The villa has a large private, spacious garden and is surrounded by olive trees. The walk to the beach is flat which makes a huge difference as it allows you to pop there and back several times a day. The Villa has a traditional Greek style on the outside with a modern interior, with everything you will need for a fantastic stay. The villa is on 2 levels – The upper ground floor comprises of a lounge and kitchen with distant sea view and 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with walk in shower. The lower ground floor is a generous sized self-contained apartment with kitchen area, large double bedroom, 2 single sofa bed's and bathroom with walk in shower. There is a large terrace with hillside views overlooking the pool with a dining area and umbrellas and pool loungers surrounding the pool. You will find another shaded outdoor lounge area outside the kitchen - this leads to the roof terrace with amazing 360 views of the sea and olive groves. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and a private balcony area with distant sea views. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and a private Balcony overlooking the pool. The self-contained apartment has a small kitchenette, a double bed, 2 sofa beds and a good sized bathroom.

We love being outdoors -swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding and hiking in and around Almyrida. We also love starting our day with a coffee at one of the cafes on the beach. In the winter months we harvest the olives from the trees on the property and press them so you can enjoy the olive oil on your stay.

Almyrida is little piece of paradise, its has a pristine golden sand beach with over 15 tavernas all on the seafront. There is no need to hire a car, as everything is within an easy walk of the villa. But if you did want to go off and explore the island you have an ideal base with private secure parking. The beach is one of the best around and is largely shallow so excellent for a quick dip but there is also an excellent snorkelling beach where you can spend hours watching the fish. You might even be lucky enough to see one of the titles that lives in the bay! There is a large rock pool ideal for younger kids. The dive centre is only 200m from the villa. This is an excellent place to learn to dive and you can take a short trip to the Elephant cave, an underground cave that got its name after the discovery of fossilized elephant bones that are estimated to be around 50-60 thousand years old. This magical place In this magical cave you can also find white and red stalactites and stalagmites- absolutely beautiful! Almyrida also has a water sports centre where you can hire canoes and paddle boards, or learn to windsurf or go on a snorkelling trip. There are also several boat hire companies on the pier that can either take you out on trips or you can self drive the boat and go on an amazing adventure.
