Welcome to Venetian era Doukades center loft apartment! A newly renovated apartment with a loft located in Doukades, a traditional Corfiot village. The apartment is at the first floor of a typical Venetian era building and it consists of a spacious one area living-dining room with a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and a bathroom with shower. The wooden loft is featured of a small double bed. In our home you will enjoy the traditional Corfiot lifestyle and feel like a part of it!
Our family runs the tavern restaurant "to steki" just below the apartment. We are always at your disposal for any information and to offer you traditional flavors of our place, so that you have a pleasant and comfortable stay in our accommodation and a great holiday experience on our island!
Venetian era Doukades center loft apartment was built at the heart of the village of Doukades. The newly renovated space will rejuvenate your spirit and soul. Prepare yourself for a journey back to time and leave like a local in the center square of the historical village. Doukades is one of the most picturesque and beautiful villages in the northern part of Corfu. It is a traditional settlement built of stone, just 20 km from the city of Corfu and 4 km from the cosmopolitan Paleokastritsa. In the village there are many old mansions, most impressive of which is the 1,000 sqm Theotoki's family house, which has recently been renovated and is perhaps the most impressive residence of the Corfu countryside. Also noteworthy is the elementary school of Venetian architecture that is preserved in a very good condition at the entrance of the village. Following a paved path through the forest you will be taken to the chapel of Agios Simeon, at an altitude of 350 meters. From there you can admire Paleokastritsa and the bay of Liapades from one side and the city of Corfu on the other. From the house you can enjoy walks through the narrow-paved alleys.
