Villa Elise is situated 15 minutes drive from Heraklion airport, 5 minutes drive from Kokkini Hani and a few minutes walk from the authentic village of Anopoli. In the village is a small shop and a traditional 'Cafeneon', also the famous Anopoli Cretan night. A few minutes walk behind us is Watercity. Kokkini hani has everything else that you may need, large supermarkets, bakery, cashpoints, bars and Tavernas and of course beaches big and small. The Dali bar is about 10 mins walk. The house itself is a beautiful family home with carefully planned indoor and outdoor areas where you can sit back and enjoy the magnificent scenery. It is built in traditional Cretan Neoclassical style, full of character with antique furniture in the spacious, living area. There are 4 bedrooms all with Air conditioning, wardrobes and mirrors, two bathrooms, and an extra downstairs toilet room. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. There is an open planned living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The large terrace has a BBQ, wood oven, dinning area , private pool, table tennis and sunbeds. Travel cot and high chair are available.
Hi I'm Lisa I have lived in Crete for more than 20 years, am married to a local man Elias and we have 3 children. We built our house in 2004 exactly how we had drawn it on a napkin in a Greek Taverna a few years previously. Since living here I have worked in the tourism business so have been on the front line of hospitality for many years, I am currently working at the airport. We will be staying just 15 minutes away so close at hand if we are needed and of course you can call us at anytime. We look forward to hosting you in our beautiful house.
We are a 15 minute drive to the Airport, port and town of Heraklion. We are a few minutes walk to Anopoli village where there are beautiful walks and we are close to churches and the Monastery of Agios Ioannis (St. John). We are 10 minutes walk to a bar or 5 minutes car drive (3 km) to Kokkini Hani where you will find bars, beaches and tavernas. We are in a very central location on the island with easy access to the highway. In Heraklion you will find Knossos Palace and museums, 5 mins away from us is the Cretan Aquarium and Dinasaur park and a few minutes walk is the best waterpark in Crete Watercity. About 20 minutes away is Hersonissos and an 18hole Golf Course. A car is essential!
