The beaches of Vourvourou like almost all beaches of Chalkidiki are famous for their natural beauty, crystal clear and shallow waters, breathtaking sunsets and golden sand. A perfect holiday destination for families with children. Vourvourou offers a wide variety of options regarding dining, food shopping, boat rental, see kayaking etc. There is a plethora of options regarding the selection of the beach, organized or completely natural. It is an ideal place for those who want to have quiet and romantic holidays as well as enjoy tours to the nearby beaches or even explore the rest of Chalkidiki. Other choices include a one day trip by boat to Agio Oros (Mount Athos) visit the Archaeological sites of the area for example Ancient Stagira - Aristotle's hometown rent a boat in order to visit one of the 9 remote islands or one of the nearby exotic sandy beaches sea kayaking for nature lovers hiking in the small mountains of Sithonia which are full of pine trees.
