Villa Lygia is located on a small bay in Petres with beautiful waters and amazing landscape that will make your holiday unforgettable. The villa is located between 2 bigger bays in Petres, which is just a short drive west of Rethymno. There are 2 local tavernas and a beach bar that can be reached by foot from the villa. Kavros village is nearby and is the closest area for all the necessary facilities such as shops, mini markets, pharmacies, tavernas, restaurants and bars. Georgioupoli waterfront village is at the end of the long stretch of beach which extends from Episkopi and offers all kinds of shops, sandy beaches and a picturesque small church, reached via a rocky sea path. Other attractive spots near the villa include Kournas Lake, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, as well as Argiroupoli village, well-known for the small spring waterfalls and the amount of great, traditional taverns under the big trees!
