We are glad to welcome you to Villa nona Maria, an architectural jewel, surrounded by a flower-filled garden in the tranquility of the village of Minies, in the heart of of Cephalonia, next to Argostoli (10' drive) and close to the sandy beaches of the southern coast of the island (10' drive). The spacious 300 square meter Villa overlooks the coastline of the island through wide windows, large verandas, terraces and patios offering an iconic view to the sea. It can host easily 5 people (2 extra foldable beds are available) and it is ideal for exploring Cephalonia and its natural beauty. Or 3 people in the self contained 1 bedroom guesthouse that has it’s own kitchenette, bathroom and living room.
Hi there! My name is Sabina and I am looking forward you to hosting you in villa Nona Maria. My husband and I are originally from Australia. A year ago, we traded city skylines for the turquoise waters and olive groves of Cephalonia, and we’ve been loving every sun-kissed moment since. For us, this island is more than just a place to live – it’s a dream we get to wake up to everyday. From morning swims to evenings spent with friends over fresh seafood and local wine, we’ve embraced the beauty and warmth of Greek island life. Feel free to reach out for tips on one of the most dynamic wine areas of Greece, Cephalonia. Two of the best wineries are within 10' by car from the villa.
Argostoli, the capital of the island, with its shops, cafes, restaurants and its vibrant life is just 10' by car. The majority of the south coast beaches are usually within 10'-20' reach. Guest who want to explore the island can also reach the majority of some of the other famous beaches like Myrtos, Petani or Xi beach within less than an hour. Argostoli and the nearby villages provide many options in terms of restaurants, tavernas, cafes and bars. Two of the best wineries are within a 10' drive. I am always available to suggest you places.
