Helios Travel (that runs Yiannis Apartments) is a privately held tourist enterprise, based in Mastichari Kos. It is in operation since 1985 under different structure and with different corporate name. Its founder and Managing Director Mr Elias Saragias, with his excellent tourist educational backround (Rhodos School of Tourism, Hotelberusfachschulen D. Speiser Tegernsee - Bad Wiessee) and unique tourist knowlegde base is collaborating with the new Administrative Manager Mr Michael Trikoilis, who is coming from the financial and investment industry. A company with a wide experience in all branches of tourism, is working all these years as an individual tourist partner in the area of Mastichari. Thousands of satisfied guests had been served, and many of them keep coming over and every year. Thus the typical business relationship between client-service provider, had been turned onto an extraordinary trusty friendship. Agency's new working structure respects the human tourist approach, and pays further emphasis to IT, modern organization, and prospects.

For those seeking Calm and Relaxation A unit of 4 apartments situated in a quite area at the end of Mastichari village at Kos island, Yiannis Apartments are suitable for families and couples seeking for calm and relaxation. Two bright and friendly rooms per apartment with a small kitchen, three or four beds and balconies with sea view, invite you to linger. A path just in front, takes you 85 meters down onto the silver sandy beach. Village centre is about 250 metres away and nearest mini market is about 200 metres. Apartment cleaning and change of linen and towels every other day. B to B agreement has been made, in providing Yiannis Apartments guests with swimming pool and snack bar facilities, from -only a few meters away- neighboring hotel infrastructure.

Neighbourhood information

Convinient and simple, Mastichari lies approximately 3 kilometres northwest of Antimachia, where one can find some of the most beautiful beaches on Kos. The port is always full with fishermen that provide daily the local tavernas with fresh fish.Mastichari is also the gate to the neighbouring island of Kalymnos, since daily cruises are available from the port of the village. There are a few mini-markets which serve all basic needs; also a few tourist, car rental and excursions offices. Although it does not seem to be exciting on the first sight, it is surely the most relaxing place you can imagine. .In fact it is all you could wish for a tranquil, relaxing and rejuvenating vacations. It is the ideal place for both younger and older couples. A choice of tavernas and cafes offer mostly Greek and mediterranean based food, along with pizza, pastas and sandwiches. Continental and English breakfast could be served as well. What deserves your best appetite is the fresh fishes caught by local fishermen, and from the island of Kalymnos.
