Our house has a marvellous sea-view at the old St Michael's fortress from the balcony. It is on walk distance from the old town and the beach. Next to it is pharmacy and across is the bakery shop.It is on the road to the NP Krka. Garage is available if our guests rent our Sunshine apartment with seaview. If they rent our two rooms upstairs, they can park in front ouf our house or in the near carpark which is free of charge. Our house is on the quite a busy street which is in fact the central road of our town.The location is good because the guests don't need their cars or local buses to come to the old town which is the most interesting spot of Šibenik. The center of the old town is reachable in ten minutes walk down the street. Our house is a modern, recently renovated building with two balconies which have bautiful seaview. In front of the house are two big terraces where we have a grill place on disposal of our guests.The kitchen is very well equipped and the furniture is new, modern or renovated in shabby shick style.The floors in the house are wooden and the staircases between the stores are wooden too.
Hi, I used to be a teacher of English and Italian and I've been retired for a year now.I started renting our house when my three children became grownups and left the nest.I like travelling and meeting new people together with my husband who is a wine expert because he spent half of his business years in wineries.When you come to our house you will be welcome by our homemade brandies like cherrybrandy, wallnuts brandy, carob brandy ect .We like to offer our guests a boat renting so they can make unforgettable half a day trips around our islands, visiting little, peaceful villages like Zlarin and Prvić. We can also connect them with a bike renter in Vodice who rents his bikes very successfully. We can recommend to our guests the best restaurants in Šibenik, Skradin and Brodarica with whose owners we are closely connected. In our free time we work in Lions clubs, International humanitarian organisations as the old memebers who participated in many humanitarian projects.We rent the rooms in our house during the whole year.The rooms are upstairs and the guests enjoy their privacy and also if they need any help or want to ask any question we are downstairs to help them any time.
The sea-view on the Šibenik islands is astonishing .Sightseeing the fortress is obligatory and so is the restaurant Pellegrini, considered among 10 best in Croatia, near the Cathedral square.The beach Banj is very near and the shopping centres are 2 km far.Food market is 100 m far.If you visit Šibenik you must see the Unesco protected old Cathedral of st. Jacob, the old renaissance and baroc palaces and the architecture of the old medieval Šibenik with its narrow, stony streets.Near the fortress of St Michael, you have to visit the Medieval park with lots of Dalmatian plants there.The town Museum is worth to be seen too, because it talks about the history of the region, dated from the Roman times.In the middle of the town there is very interesting building of our theatre which you can visit and admire its inside.If you are interested in nature you should visit the Bird center in Dubrava, or take four km walk along the footpath of St. Antony Channel from which you can enjoy beautiful panorama of Šibenik by sea. Not to mention the vicinity of the National park Krka where you can see the famous waterfalls or go by boat to Visovac and Roški Slap. NP Kornati is near too.
