Our campsites are selected on having at least one pool, a crystal-clear sea at walking distance, proper accessibility and sufficient facilities and activities for the entire family.

Property information

The spacious camping of Valkanela has a soothing view at the attractive fishing village of Vrsar and surrounding islands. The presence of pine trees at this location provide for plenty of shade, making sure you can finally read that book or just enjoy doing nothing in the soft Mediterranean climate. Sunbathers can rent sunbeds for a small fee and can, through the aid of the stone sunbathing plateaus, easily descend into the sea. There is no tourist tax to be paid on arrival at the campsite. It is included in the price. Pillows and blankets are included. Bed linen and towels are exclusive. Guests can bring their own or rent them (not on location) for the following charges: * Bed linen Single Bed: Euro 20,00 per package per stay. * Bedding Double Bed: Euro 27.50 per package per stay. * Towels (2): Euro 12.50 per package per stay. * Beach towels (2): Euro 20,00 per package per stay. The final cleaning is included in the price. Please do leave the accommodation tidy.

Neighbourhood information

You will not easily get bored on camping Valkanela, but for those curious about the area we recommend Vrsar. This cosy fishing village has several portside restaurants where you can feast upon the fresh fish and olive oil this region is famous for. The 'liquid gold', as Homerus called olive oil, isn't just healthy, but the olive trees that grow these olives are a true beauty to behold. When you drive through Istria there aren't just olive trees. In this region there are several wine orchards as well. The result is a wide variety of delicious local wines of an excellent quality and with unique characteristics. This means that even on your vacation you'll consume the advised two pieces of fruit a day, though it may be in the shape of these divine grapes.
