Neighbourhood information

Liznjan, a small fishing village, is located on a peninsula in a naturally hidden harbor in the very south of Istria. Ližnjan is characterized by as many as 28 kilometers of beautiful, untouched beaches, rocky bays and an interesting undersea. Due to the specific geomorphological undersea, Kuje and Ližnjan coves were the place of many shipwrecks. You can see the remains if you dare to go diving in the company of guides and professionals. Rich historical heritage on the mainland will also not disappoint you, because the Ližnjan area has been inhabited for over 7,000 years, as evidenced by the remains of Roman villas, ceramics and amphorae. In front of Ližnjan is the mysterious island of Levan, which is adorned with a sandy beach, and you should definitely take the opportunity to visit it and escape from the crowds.
