At the very top of Mrkopalj, surrounded by forest and greenery, this holiday home offers everything you need for a true escape from everyday life. A spacious terrace with a breathtaking view – of Čelimbaša, Mrkopalj and the surrounding mountains – is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening soak in the jacuzzi under the stars. In winter, everything is covered in snow, and the ski and sledding slopes are just around the corner. Peace, fresh mountain air and silence rule here – ideal for recharging and enjoying the rhythm of nature.
We are Mija and Daniel – a couple who decided to enrich our life between the sea and the mountains by creating a holiday retreat we ourselves love to escape to. We both enjoy spending time in nature, walking with our dog, exploring mountain trails and relaxing far from the hustle and bustle of the city. We’ve designed our house to be a warm, simple and functional space where you can truly feel at home – but with that special something that comes from watching the mountains from the jacuzzi. If you ever need a recommendation for the best local lunch, the prettiest sunset spot, or a perfect day in nature – we’re happy to share the things we love ourselves. Welcome to our little mountain haven!
