Holiday Home "Sinac" is ideally located between Majerovo and Tonkovic Vrilo, two of the most beautiful and largest sources of the river Gacka, as well as between national parks Plitvice Lakes and Northern Velebit. The stand-alone house consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, and one large room that combines kitchen, dining room and living room. All rooms are well-equipped and all devices are available to guests. Furthermore, there is a covered terrace with barbecue and with an impressive view of the surrounding hills and meadows.
The outdoor hot tub is included in the offer from June till the end of September.
We're Ivica and Mandica, a couple engaged in organic agriculture. Most of our time we spend in nature or with our two little grandchildren. As we live in a nearby town Otocac, the guests will have the whole house to themselves and a complete privacy. At the same time however we're at disposal to our guests. We would also be delighted to give you some tips as you plan your holiday activities in Gacka Valley. We are looking forward to your arrival and wish you a warm welcome to our holiday home!
This part of Sinac, a small village near Otocac, has a perfect position between the two largest and most beautiful sources of the river Gacka - Majerovo and Tonkovic Vrilo. Gacka River is one of the Croatian tourist gems and the world-famous fishing destination. This is a quiet place that is still practically untouched by human hand, and therefore ideal for nature-lovers or those looking for a relaxing holiday. What's more, in nearby Godača Hill there are marked hiking trails and paragliding runway. The biggest attraction is however kayaking and canoeing on the Gacka River. Kayaks and canoes as well as bicycles and quad vehicles can be rented from local tour operators.
This holiday home is in a perfect location if you want to visit National Park Plitvice Lakes (58km) or Northern Velebit (35km). Other notable attractions include the "Bear Sanctuary" in Kuterevo (25km), Zip line "Beware of the Bear" in Rudopolje (23km) and the Cave Park "Grabovača" near Perušić (35km). The nearest beach on the Adriatic Sea is about 50km away.
