This house was purchased in 2014, me being the second owner. The initial owners were historians of arts and decorated the house uniquely. We've been trying to preserve these wonderful settings ever since and keep it somewhat rustical. It looks like a Tuscany villa in Italy - a wonderful fusion of the traditional Dalmatian architecture and some Italian touch to it. The swimming pool is a great option, given the house is located in a secluded spot.
I have worked internationally most of my life. Being partly from Brac by origin, I decided to move to the island altogether, as my job is quite flexible (freelancing). And that was the best decision ever made. I live in the town of Postira, a 10-minute ride from the villa. Besides several investments in tourism at the island, I still work as a macroeconomics consultant for several international development agencies worldwide.
Skrip is the oldest settlement of the island of Brac. As you can see from a neighbouring museum of the island, its oldest preserved artifacts and buildings date back as far as 3.5 millennia. There is also a museum of oil withing walking distance - an homage to the main economic activity of Brac for centuries and millennia. Several nice cafes and tavernas are also within walking distance from the house.
