After the entrance to the villa Rasotica in Sumartin, named after the nearby bay and the three palm trees that are standing beside the pool, you would say that you are entering the ancient temple: little staircase of five pillars framed by two columns supporting the roof-like architrave. Indeed, space and content villas reminiscent on rural mansion dating from the Renaissance. The spacious rooms, some of which have access to a swimming pool, an outdoor covered kitchen, a garden full of greenery and flowers … all this makes an oasis in the middle of olive groves, orchards and vineyards that surround the villa. This impression is completed by large windows, old wooden furniture with gold accents and satin fabric, edges of mirrors decorated with golden color.

Sumartin on Brac has a ferry dock and so, like Supetar and Bol, is one of the entrances to Brač. Although it has good connections with Makarska and is visited by tourist yachts, Sumartin is still a peaceful place to spend a restful holiday. There are some quiet, hidden coves nearby (Rasotica, Zukovik, Radovnja, Studena, Zvirje and Spilice) with sandy or pebble beaches. Sumartin is attractive because it has retained its simplicity, with its lovely beaches, unspoiled nature and crystal clear sea.
