Our Koru Apartment (koru = maori meaning is "new life / new beginnings" is situated in Mimice, 150 meters from Kutleša East Beach, 400 meters from Kuta Beach and shop, ATM, tourist bureau and coffee bar/pizzeria and has an authentic fish restaurant 3 minutes walk away. A newly built seasonal heated pool (6x3m) has been installed 2020 . We are an hour drive south of Split airport which is a very pleasant drive next to the sea. We have 3 one bedroomed units and upon a request a price can be made for rental of the whole property. The apartment has 1 bedroom (beds can be made into a twin or together with a topper turns into a comfortable super king). It has a lounge area with tv with Netflix, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Free parking is available. Breakfast can be arranged. There are sun loungers available. We have lovely views over the Adriatic Sea and a beautiful backdrop of the Dinara mountains. Hiking can be done everywhere and the towns of Omiš and Makarska offer lots of activities such as river boat trips, mountain climbing, island trips and ziplining.
We started our first season in Mimice in 2019 and were delighted with very high scores from guests. We came from New Zealand to start a new life and are of New Zealand and Dutch origin. We speak Dutch and German.
We are situated in the old town of Mimice and 2 of the units are in an old Damatian house in which the units are modernised and light. The little harbour is great for a coffee or a meal and the Fishpicknick offers a lovely trip to Brać Island which is across about 15 km away. It is relaxed and not too busy with tourists and beaches nearby can be reached by car easily. The bus connections are also reliable and a busstop is outside 400m away.
