The apartment has been renovated and totally refurnished in Spring 2022 . We have 24 hours check in and check out, so no problem with late arrivals or early leavings. We can even pick you up or drive you back to the airport if you wish (the price for it is 33 EUR/car). The concept of Budapesting is a new expression on how to visit and become part of this unique city. Staying with us, you get the chance to discover the city with a perspective of a local. Our aim is to give our Guests a comprehensive insight on how life is in Budapest. In addition to that we firmly believe that each and every person is different therefore we take extra care in dealing with the special needs of our Guests. We take attention in getting to know the people we host so we can help them in the way they need it. Staying with Us you'll feel like you are a citizen of Budapest for a couple of days.

Property information

One of the modern buildings in Budapest. It was originally built in the early 1800's as a military hospital before being turned into Music Hall. This house is situated on a hillside in the first district (address of Battyány street 14). Built by Makovecz Imre (the same person who built the National Theatre) to challenge modern architecture of glass and steel, it attracts a lot of praise and criticism. Imre Makovecz (November 20, 1935 – September 27, 2011) was a Hungarian architect active in Europe from the late 1950s onward. Makovecz was born and died in Budapest. He attended the Technical University of Budapest. He was founder and "eternal and executive president" of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. He was an award-winning architect, having won Ybl Prize, Kossuth Prize, Steindl Imre Prize and Prima Primissima Award among many others.
