Hévíz is famous for its thermal water, cozy downtown streets, shops and gastronomic points. It is worth boarding the E-Go (electric minibus) and visiting Egregy wine line, where you can taste not only local producers' wines, but also home-made flavors. Walk to the Árpádian church, then check out the downtown Holy Spirit Church, which locals have dubbed the "Blue Church." The imposing building combines Gothic and modern style elements: its seven towers symbolize the seven gifts of the eponymous and, from above, reminiscent of a dove with outstretched wings. The oldest relic of the church is the more than 150-year-old hands-free corpus at the altar, donated to the community by Father Bencsik after being caught in an attic at a young age. Tip: Organ concerts and foreign language masses are also held regularly on site.
