The apartment is located halfway between the airport and the city center, making it ideal for those arriving or departing by plane. The city center is easily accessible by car and public transport. The 23rd district of Budapest, Soroksár, is a lesser-known but charming and mostly residential area in the southern part of the city. While it doesn’t boast the tourist-heavy landmarks of central Budapest, it offers a more peaceful, local experience with plenty of green spaces and nature-focused activities. Nearby the apartment, you'll find several playgrounds, a Lidl supermarket, a bakery, and a few restaurants most within walking distance and all within a 2 km radius. By car, you can also quickly reach 24/7 Tesco, fast food restaurants, IKEA, KIKA, JYSK, Régió Játék toy store, a playhouse, and other shopping and entertainment options. Sights and activities in the area include the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Molnár Island, Gubacsi Bridge and Danube Promenade, the park of the Grassalkovich Mansion, Haller Recreation Park, Tanyasi Lovasudvar (horse court), and the calm waters of the Soroksár branch of the Danube, which are perfect for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing.
