Just 100 metres from a beautiful black sandy beach on Bali’s south-eastern coast, this stylish villa (Three-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool) is the epitome of contemporary coastal chic. With three bedrooms, swimming pool and plenty of options for indoor or outdoor tropical living it makes an ideal choice for small groups, families or honeymooners.

Neighbourhood information

Villa Bayu Gita is located absolutely beachfront at Pabean Beach, near Ketewel, on Bali’s south-east coast. Bounded by the River Wos, rice fields, tobacco plantations, papaya, banana and coconut groves, the area is blessed with spectacular views extending across the ocean towards the beaches of Sanur and Nusa Dua, the islands of Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida, and the mountains of East Bali. Pabean was once a small port used by oriental traders, the neighbouring village of Saba produced Bali’s finest Legong dancers, and local temple ceremonies are a common sight. The nearby river estuary is full of birdlife, while the glistening black-sand beach offers beautiful walks; it is popular with surfers but swirling currents (and no lifeguards) make it unsafe for swimming. There are no Western-style restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity but international restaurants and shops galore can be found just 13km away in Sanur. There is a riding stables at Saba (3km), and Bali Safari and Marine Park offers a great day out for the kids just 8km from the villa. The villages of Mas (13km), Sukawati (7km), Batubulan (13km) and Batuan (10km), famous for their traditional handcrafts
