Property information

Dewi Tara Haven is a villa boutique hotel built in recycled wood in a vast tropical garden. Each of our 5 villa`s has it`s own design and character. In the rooms you will find art work, traditional handwoven Balinese textiles and a collection of antique colonial style Javanese and Balinese furniture. Rooted in tradition our local Balinese staff will treat you with kindness, care and attention, and each day they will make offerings and pray in our temples. Time has it`s own pace here. Enjoy rice field hiking right from our doorstep or take a ride on our free to use mountain bikes. Doing Yoga - feel free to use our open Yoga shala in the garden. Ready for a swim - jump in our 12 m infinity pool, or chill in the shallow area while enjoying spectacular views over the rice fields and the jungle. Then for lunch or dinner, treat yourself with homemade Balinese food in our Naga Restaurant. With luck, at the end of the day you will enjoy amazing sunsets. In the evening the fireflies comes out.

Neighbourhood information

We are in Manik Tawang, a traditional Balinese village, 20 km uphill from Ubud. Surrounded by rice fields and a jungle valley. The area is known for it`s many historical sites and temples. Pura Tirta Empul, the water temple, is only 10 minutes away. Gunung Kawi, with it`s impressive rock carved shrines, only 15 minutes. It is very easy to take a stroll through the village, visit our little local waterfall or take a hike on the trails in the rice fields. Nature is abundant in this area.
