Welcome to EVERGREEN Lodge – More Than Just a Place to Stay EVERGREEN Lodge in Padang, Sumatra, is not your typical motel – we are a true homestay where shared living and meaningful experiences come first. Led by Swiss management and supported by a warm local team, we’ve created a place where guests can feel at home – open, personal, and authentic. It’s not just about having a bed to sleep in, but about being part of something. Whether it’s a shared breakfast, good conversations with fellow travelers, or spontaneous adventures – we encourage real connections and a relaxed, communal atmosphere. Our lodge is perfect for those who don’t just want to visit Sumatra, but truly experience it – with comfort, but without the anonymity. Our hostel is nestled on a small, beautiful hill just 40 meters above the warm, blue ocean of Padang. So you have to climb some stairs to get to our place.

Neighbourhood information

Here everyone is friendly and nice. A little English you can ask them anything. For other access is very close here such as restaurants, museums, bars, coffee shops, Mentawai harbor, markets, hills and beaches. All of that you can do by walking for a few minutes.
