Shunyata Villas was founded by von Maria und Jürgen, two German psycho- and body therapists who were looking for a magical and breath-taking place. When they stopped here at Seraya they were instantly blown away. The search was finally over.

Property information

Shunyata Villas Bali is an eco-luxury resort surrounded by untouched nature. Here you can relax far away from mass tourism, recharge your batteries and enjoy numerous offers such as Yoga*, Healing* and much more. Due to its special location on a magical cliff on the east coast of Bali, you can expect a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean, the volcanic mountains and the two islands of Lombok and Nusa Penida. You will spend your days in a magnificent 150-200 m2 building with a private pool and an open bathing garden. For lunch and dinner our chef will spoil you with daily changing 3-course menus. All dishes come from our own manufactory. For the preparation we use onlyhigh-quality and original ingredients. Come here to relax, for your honeymoon, or to explore the treasures and riches of Bali. Neighbourhood information

Discover the direct surrounding and original life in Bali. Take romantic walks through the village, stroll down to the beach or enjoy the peace at the ritual place, which only is a short walk away and offers magnificent views of the coastal cliffs. Although Seraya is a rather small village, there is a lot to see and experience here. Immerse yourself in the original Bali, discover isolated houses of farmers and fishermen, meet friendly people, pot-bellied pigs, cows, goats, chickens, ducks and all sorts of other animals, which all roam freely through the area - like in paradise. A tour to Candi Dasa (40 minutes) invites you to stroll and shop with a short break in one of the quaint cafés. We are happy to recommend our favourites to you, such as the café-restaurant "Da Vinci" run by the Dutch. The traditional mountain village of Tenganan (3 km from Candi Dasa) with its inhabitants of the people of Bali Aga (descendants of the original inhabitants of Bali) is one of the few villages where pre-Hindu culture has remained alive. Here you will find world-famous weaving mills as well as other handicraft shops.
