Set on an acre of private grounds with sweeping sea views, Ormonds View is a welcoming three-bedroom bungalow just a 15-minute drive from the vibrant town of Kenmare on the Wild Atlantic Way. This bright and homely retreat features an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, all with sea views, and a cosy open fire for cooler evenings. Outside, guests can enjoy a fully fenced garden and ample private parking. The property has three comfortable bedrooms. The master double offers stunning sea views and an en suite with electric shower. A second double room is also en suite with shower. The twin bedroom has access to the main bathroom, which includes a bath. A small shingle cove is just a 5-minute stroll away, with sandy beaches reachable within a 45-minute drive. The Lakehouse Bar, serving food and drinks, is within walking distance, while Kenmare’s award-winning shops, pubs, and restaurants are just 15 minutes away. Electricity for heating and lighting is charged separately (extra charges apply, payable locally).

Neighbourhood information

Kenmare itself is a designated Heritage Town and a gateway to both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Guests can enjoy scenic cruises on Kenmare Bay, cycling tours, water sports, golf, pony trekking, and countless hiking trails. For families, Star Sailing & Adventure Centre offers seasonal activities including kayaking, sailing, and a wildlife safari cruise and the Play Cove at Star Sailing and Adventure Centre is the ideal indoor play area for smaller children. Ormonds View is a 15 minute drive from Kenmare Town. Further afield, Killarney is a 40-minute drive and Cork City just over an hour, making Ormonds View an ideal base for exploring southwest Ireland.
