Bundoran is a beautiful seaside town, with gorgeous views of the ocean and Dartry mountains to either side. Our staff are known for their friendliness and enthusiasm to help you have the best stay possible in Donegal. We here love our local history, our walks, treks, hikes, and of course, surfing and horseriding, and all these are available during your stay. We are child and pet friendly, as long as their owners behave! There will be a warm welcome here for you.

The Atlantic Apartotel is a complex of self-catering apartments, with an outdoor garden bar, indoor Irish pub, large lobby and private gardens, leisure center with children's swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There is private parking, free Wi-Fi and the apartments are centrally located on Main Street in Bundoran, 2 minutes walk from the funfair, the beaches, and the main street amenities and facilities. The complex also includes The Wishing Chair gift and craft shop.

Neighbourhood information

Bundoran is ideal for families, and for lovers of the outdoors. Families can enjoy our onsite pool, playground and gardens, and the cineplex is a five-minute walk away. There are several beaches on our doorstep, with a number of surf schools providing surf lessons, wetsuit rentals, bodyboards and SUP. You can also book horseriding on the beach, or go walking or hiking- trails nearby include Arroo Mountain, Benbulben Forest Walk, and various routes in the Bluestack Mountains. Bundoran is ideal for access not only to Donegal, but the lovely Glens of Leitrim, the Fermanagh Lakelands and magnificent Yeats Country, Sligo. For history lovers, there are fantastic sites, including Ballyshannon Abbey, Donegal Castle, CreevyKeel tomb, Carrowmore Megaliths, Queen Maeve's cairn on Knocknarea Mountain, Lissadell house and loads more. We will happily point you in the right direction depending on your choices.
