IEC Residence is ideal for Groups with its 33 bedrooms, games room, TV room, library area, common rooms as well as canteen facilities. Suitable for University groups, Youth groups, Clubs, Associations, events etc. If offers ample facilities and as well as having a gated complex and gardens for lounging in. We can also provide catering services for groups requiring meals. We hope to welcome you to IEC!
The company was established in 2016. For almost 20 years the hosts have been involved in hosting student and adult groups from Europe and Ireland in shared residence accommodation. IEC is delighted to offer the newly refurbished residence in the beautiful town of Kanturk Co. Cork where you’ll be ideally located to explore the beauty of County Cork and beyond.
Kanturk is a charming countryside town in North Cork, offering easy access to scenic landscapes, historic landmarks, and outdoor activities. Supermarkets, cafés, and pubs are just a short walk away ( 2-5 mins). There are also walking and cycling trails nearby for outdoor enthusiasts.. You can visit the 17th-century ruins of Kanturk Castle (1 km), Mount Hilary Hiking Trails (7 km), and Ballyhass Lakes (15 km) which is Irelands largest outdoor adventure park for both adults and kids to enjoy water and land based activities Nearby cities : -Blarney Castle & Stone is just 38 km away -Cork City is just 48 km away (approx 50 mins drive) -Limerick City is approx 68 km away -Killarney (50km away) approx 50 mins drive -Kerry Airport is under an hour's drive -Shannon Airport is an hour and a half drive IEC Apartments provide a convenient base to explore the region.
