Escape the city and crowds. Our lodge is a retreat from the pace of modern life at the edge of Connemara and a short drive to Croagh Patrick and Westport. Perfect for groups of hikers, surfers, kitesurfers. Carrowniskey, the famous surf beach is nearby, with our surf boards and wetsuits, you will be ready to hit the waves. Lodge sleeps 16 and 2 glamping pods at rear of property provide sleep arrangements for 4 extra people (only suitable in summer time)
We are TJ and Olivia Kitterick. Along with our 3 children we own and run Killeen Beach Lodge set on our hill sheep farm. We have a passion for the outdoors and the amazing location we are priveleged to live. We look forward to your visit to our Lodge and will do our best to ensure a fantastic stay for you and your gang. We will be available on arrival and by phone throughout the stay. We are located at the edge of Killeen village, 1 km from Cross Beach, 7km west of Louisburgh. Our neighbourhood is one of outstanding natural beauty. There are a number of beautiful beaches within a short drive of the Lodge and our property overlooks Croagh Patrick and Mweelrea Mountain (Connaught's highest mountain). Killeen Beach Lodge is a great place to relax and unwind. Local minibus can be organised to take your group to Westport for a night if you require this service.
