Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, just 350m from the 5 star Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel and 2.5km from Kenmare town. Newly renovated with a king size bed in the bedroom and a brand new bathroom upstairs and brand new kitchen downstairs. Open plan lounge & kitchen and dining with direct access to a private patio overlooking the River Sheen with barbecue, fire pit and patio furniture. All facilities including satellite TV and WiFi. Located directly on the Ring of Beara walking route. 300m walk to the Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel with its lovely bars and restaurants and a 5 minute 2.5km drive to Kenmare Town.
I am retired and originally from near Manchester in the UK and am living with my partner Dónal of over 30 years who is from Co Cork. Both of us worked in the health service but we are now enjoying everything this magical place has to offer in our retirement. So lucky to live in Kenmare, Co.Kerry.!! Tranquil setting in the Sheen Valley Heritage area but only 2.5km from town. The Beara Way walk is directly outside the house and leads to many local attractions such as Bonane Heritage Park and Priests Leap. The 5 star Sheen Falls Lodge is just 350m away located on the edge of Kenmare Bay. Kenmare itself is a wonderful Heritage Town with many lovely shops and restaurants and a Megalithic stone circle of note. 2 Beautiful golf courses are situated in or close to Kenmare. Kenmare is also a wonderful starting point for exploring the Ring of Kerry, the majestic Beara Peninsula and West Cork. Walking cycling and driving are very easy and parking in town is free and no problem apart from the very peak of the holiday season. The roads are not busy and the only hold ups are cattle crossing the road or sheep going to market. Cycles sometimes available to borrow. Electric bikes can be rented in town and delivered to the doorstep.
